How early do I need to reserve my wedding date? ↑
The sooner the better, of course, to guarantee the availability of your date. While we are sometimes able to accommodate couples on short notice, we recommend three to six months in advance. During the more popular wedding months, dates can become unavailable a year in advance.
How do I reserve my wedding date? ↑
In order to reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required with a signed agreement engaging Houston Wedding Story to film your wedding.
What methods of payment do you accept? ↑
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks, and PayPal.
When is the balance due? ↑
The remaining 50% of the total balance is due on or before your wedding day.
Will having my wedding ceremony filmed be obtrusive? ↑
Absolutely not...Houston Wedding Story arrives at the ceremony location 2 hours beforehand to capture the pre-ceremony highlight footage. We document the wedding party, the location, and the atmosphere as you prepare for your special day. Our talented camera operators are dressed in professional attire and are very unobtrusive.
Do you do weddings outside of the Houston area? ↑
Houston Wedding Story has no mileage, distance, or travel charges within Harris County. However, for weddings located outside of Harris County, applicable fees will be determined between you and Houston Wedding Story.

Houston Wedding Story was established in 2002 and has over 30 years of combined experience in video production.

Photographs are still a very important part of a wedding day. Pictures really are worth a thousand words, but they are incapable of capturing the whole story. They do not actively capture the laughter, the spontaneity, the warmth and love… Houston Wedding Story captures the essence of the moment as it is naturally occurring… no posing needed. It is also wonderful to have a high-quality DVD to share with family and friends who are not able to be with you to celebrate your wedding day or who just want to relive it with you all over again.

This is a one-take event, with no chances to go back and correct mistakes or oversights. Houston Wedding Story has the equipment, the experience and the professional know-how to capture all the special moments of your wedding day. And one of the most important parts of recording your wedding ceremony and reception is the post-production work involved in making your video smooth, professional and exciting to watch. Hiring a professional allows your family and friends to enjoy the festivities at your wedding, instead of being stuck behind the camera.

Additional DVDs can be purchased before or after your wedding day at a rate of $20 each.
